We're a small family-owned company located in central Florida striving to be the best in the HVAC business. While we might be a smaller company, we do not lack the resources that a big company might possess. Being small and family-owned helps us to maintain personal relationships with our customers as well as provide a type of customer service that a larger company cannot. HOW IT ALL STARTED
Our family-owned company started off as a one-man show. John Suazo, the owner of John’s A/C, began his interest in A/C in 1985. He graduated from technical school in New York City as well as Electrical and Refrigeration school. Since then, he’s worked on almost everything you can think of regarding HVAC such as chillers, commercial freezers, package units, mini-splits, and multiple types of split systems.
Before becoming the owner of his own company, he worked for two major companies since 1994.
He started his career in Service America from 1994 to 2000 and then transferred over to Hill York from 2000 to 2008. Then in January 2009, John’s A/C Inc. was born. This small company started with just John, his two sons, Jonathan and Joshua, and his wife Leticia. They would go house to house giving out flyers and attempting to build clientele. As word got around John was able to pick up customers in Daytona, Orlando, Tampa, Gainesville, Ocala, and The Villages.
Since 2009, John’s A/C has grown immensely. This company started off with just 2 employees, John and his apprentice, Andre. As time went on and the company began to expand; John’s oldest son, Jonathan, became a helper in the field. Now this company counts a total of 5 technicians including John, Andre, Jonathan, David, and Albert. We also count an office staff of 3 members, 2 of them being family and 1 other close friend of the family, Noel. Even though John’s A/C has grown we still strive to give all of our customers that touch of family and hard work that started it all.
